vision on creating
The essence of Product Design is outlining the function of a product and defining what the product requirements are.
Aesthetics that are often prioritised are not an unimportant consideration. After all, if we find a design appealing then we’ll use it for longer and so it’ll be more durable. However, tastes differ and we simply all have our own opinions on what we like. And that’s a good thing, because it makes life that bit more interesting. What we do have in common is the need to prioritise a product’s functions.
That is what I love to do, creating products to address the needs of a certain group of users. Focussing on these needs whilst considering the ability to recycle, re-use or upcycle is what makes this profession so challenging and exciting.
